Redondo Peninsula Energy, Inc. (RP Energy), through the support of One Meralco Foundation, donated 26 desktop computers to support the Philippine Red Cross (PRC) in its efforts to fight the COVID-19 pandemic.
The computers, which were turned over on May 20, will be used in the molecular laboratory that is being set up by the PRC and Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) at the PRC Logistics and Training Center within the Subic Bay Freeport Zone in Zambales.
SBMA Chairperson Wilma T. Eisma said: “The laboratory is expected to process around 2,000 test results per day once operational. This will be crucial in our battle against the COVID-19 virus.”
RP Energy and One Meralco Foundation recognize the seriousness of COVID-19 and are committed to support the government and the private sector in the fight against the pandemic.
